The installation of a Type-2 Electric Vehicle Charge Point is a simple and quick task - for an EV-Pow Associate. We only need to know a few details by which to recommend and instal the most suitable charger for your needs. All standard installations can be completed within a day. So when you know the intended day of receipt for your new Electric vehicle, contact us and we will have your charging facility all ready to go in time.
Step One.
Call EV-Pow.
Just call us and we will ask you some quick questions about your choice of EV, what you need from your EV charging, your parking arrangements, and the electrical supply in your property. Nothing scary, we promise! And we will guide you through to find the answers we need.
Step Two.
Survey.
We may be able to do this quickly over the phone and by email, asking you to submit details and photos. Or we may need to visit your property. Rest assured, you are in safe guiding hands.
Step Three.
Quote.
EV-Pow will propose to you the ideal charger for your needs, without bias. And will submit a total quotation for the installation, including all works and any additional equipment required. There will not be any hidden costs.
Step Four.
Installation.
EV-Pow will then agree a date with yourself by which to complete the charger installation. Most single unit installations are easy enough to complete within one day.
Then, with a little bit of training, you are ready to charge. Simple!

And with kWh rates of as little as 7.5p/kWh now being offered by some utility providers during off-peak hours, for the specific purpose of overnight charging; the future of personal (and commercial) transportation is looking cheap.
In such circumstances, a mid-range EV such as a Skoda Enyaq can be fully charged and able to complete 270 miles for less than £7. Amazing!

No private parking?
Don't worry, there is always a solution. EV-Pow specialises in establishing Collective and Community EV Charge infrastructures, where a community of residents exists that do not have the means by which to safely charge their car on their own private property. Circumstances where residents do not have a drive or garage directly attached to their home and are forced to park their vehicles on the street, or reside in a collective building like an apartment block.
EV-Pow strongly believes that Collective Community EV Charging is the way forward for this demographic. All we need is a power supply and a car park.
Village pubs, Community Centres, Parish Halls, Church's, even the old phone interchange buildings, and all multi-use / multi-occupant buildings; are all viable possibilities for an EV charging proposition. It doesn't matter whether these buildings are currently open or not, they still have power and on-site car parking.

Not all car owners live in a private house with a traditional garage or dedicated car parking space directly outside. But there still remains a distinct need for this large proportion of people to be able to charge their electric car conveniently over-night. This could be within the basement of an apartment block or in a designated accessible parking space. EV-Pow can provide a bespoke solution for these requirements.
If you are a tenant renting an apartment or own an apartment yourself, you may not be the only person within your building in need of an efficient Electric Vehicle charging solution.
